AMERCO Selects BDO Seidman, LLP as Independent Public

AMERCO (NASDAQ: UHAL) today announced that it has appointed BDO Seidman, LLP as the Company’s independent accountant. AMERCO’s financial reporting team is dedicated to creating a smooth transition, the results of which will be timely, quality financial statements. The selection of a new auditing firm was not the result of any disagreement between AMERCO and its previous auditors on any matter of accounting practices or financial disclosure.

BDO Seidman was selected from a field of several nationally recognized public accounting firms for their service philosophy of creating value-driven relationships. Ranking 5th in the industry, BDO Seidman was chosen by AMERCO’s audit committee based on its broad scope of financial services that wholly encompass the financial needs of AMERCO and its consolidated subsidiaries.
